FY25 TFQC Year In Review

TFQC is celebrating another successful fiscal year! The coalition continued it’s work to prevent and reduce the impact of tobacco and nicotine use in our community. TFQC advertised cessation resources throughout the Quad Cities with display, YouTube, and streaming audio advertisements. We have continued to promote tobacco and nicotine-free policies. One of our big success stories was presenting at the Annual Community Partnership Tobacco Conference and at Iowa’s Annual Governor’s Conference on Substance Use over our work with the City of Eldridge on their zoning ordinance for vape shops! We also had great success hosting a table at the Rock Island County Fair and reaching over 400 individuals! Additionally, we were able to add another ISTEP chapter at Davenport Central High School, while continuing to support our existing chapters at the Safer Foundation and North Scott High School, with now a total of three chapters. We continue to engage the community at events around the Quad Cities and working with our partners. We thank all our partners and community organizations for a great year!
